AirPlay 2 support will be available on Samsung Smart TVs in 190 countries worldwide. It will allow you to stream music, videos, photos and other content from your Apple devices to your Apple TV.

It is suspected that Apple is opening up their ecosystem in preparation for their upcoming video streaming service. The services is expected to launch this year in over 100 countries.

Apple has invested over 1 billion dollars in the service and widening it’s audience base to Samsung TVs will allow them to increase the services revenue potential.

It has also been rumoured that the service may be provided for free on some Apple devices allowing Apple to differentiate its products from those of Samsung.
