Current iPhones ship have shipped with the same 5W charger with lighting to USB cable but rumours suggest this will change with the 2019 iPhone models.
It is currently expected that Apple will introduce three new iPhone models later this year and Mac Otakara suggests that they will include a 18W charger and USB-C to Lightning connector included.
Apple does offer these as seperate products that can be purchased to significantly increase the charging speed of your iPhone. Apple will currently charge you at least $78 to achieve it at the moment.
Fast charging support is available in iPhone 8 and newer models and can achieve a 50% charge in just 30 minutes.
They also confirm recent rumours that the new iPhones will include two way wireless charging to allow you to charge AirPods or Apple Watch wirelessly from your iPhone. This feature will somewhat make up for those that were disappointed by Apple’s recent announcement that it has cancelled the AirPower.
