Updated iPads not expected to have external design changes

Apple is expected to release updated iPad and iPad mini later this month around the time of their suspected video streaming and news subscription service.

The latest rumour regarding the new iPad is that it will not see any external design changes. It is expected to continue to have Touch ID and a headphone jack.

The updated iPad is expected to have the same 9.7 inch screen or may receive a screen bump to 10.2 inches.

It is expected to launch alongside an updated iPad mini which will see speed bumps but not many other changes. The two models will be positioned as the low cost iPads when compared to Apple’s iPad Pros.

Apple is expected to announce its long anticipated video streaming service and a news subscription service on March 25th with the updated iPads to released at or around the event.
