An iPad with Smart Keyboard support may be coming soon according to Apple developer Steve Troughton-Smith.
The rumours are still a little sketchy but this would see the Smart Keyboard joining the Apple Pencil as being available on Apple non Pro iPads.
The Apple Pencil and Smart keyboard were key differentiators between he normal iPad and the Pro models when the Pro was released.
The rumoured new iPad and iPad Mini will continue to use Touch ID and will not support FaceID.
To further support the rumourthe Eurasian Economic Commission revealed model numbers for seven new iPad.
The grouping of the model numbers indicates two distinct devices which seems to indicated an updated 9.7-inch iPad and a 5th generation iPad mini.
