Waze and its community of user reports of hazards, accidents, speed traps, red light cameras and more comes to Apple’s CarPlay.
Google Maps & Apple Maps are great but Waze (also by Google) also includes community reports to highlight traffic hazards, red light cameras, etc making it much more powerful.
Additional map apps on CarPlay like Google Maps and Waze require you to update your iPhone to iOS 12.
You can even provide feedback via the CarPlay interface like advising that a Red Light camera is still there.
In addition to the turn by turn directions on the iPhone display that Google Maps & Apple Maps you can also see the upcoming reports on your trip.
